Tommy Proof Surprising Story of H106 Series
The shooting of the video that gives an easy-to-understand user guide and overview of product quality took place recently as part of the work to build the microsite for HMX-H106. Sidney, Australia was selected as the location for the shooting because we were looking for a warm outdoors in February.
The story of the H106 shooting is simple as follows: The adventurous day of our mischievous little boy, Tommy, playing with H106 while his parents are out.
Four main characters for the shooting – dad, mom, Tommy and a baby sitter. Immediately after arriving at Sydney, we started auditioning for the local models. We personally met with 12 candidates, tested their acting skills and have the models work together as a team. And this was not an easy job! But the little kid for Tommy’s role! With his cute and mischievous face and natural acting skills, there could have been no better kid qualified for this role! He was the darling of everyone on the field.

After finalizing the location and preparing the accessories, we started the outdoor shooting. We had expected clear and bright sky, but the sky that changes its color incessantly made the shooting tricky, especially when we had to shoot the parachute scene. But, the local DOP(Director Of Photography) whom we had secured at the very last moment, did such a fantastic job that we were able to capture all the scenes that we had hoped for. Oh! Oh! And the parachute!! There is rumor that the staff practically invented the parachute, going through many trials and errors so that the parachute would drop nice and smoothly when Tommy drops it from the 2nd floor with the H106 hung to the parachute.
After the sunset, the scene where the camcorder sits in the refrigerator ends “Tommy’s day”!

I love what they have done with this to profile the camcorder on the micro site.
I wonder if Samsung will embrace the web channel and do more of this?
