<p>Last weekend I went to rafting on river Tara in Bosnia. It was amazing (you&#8217;ll see photos in my next post). But while we were traveling there, one more time I realised how and Serbia and Bosnia and all ex Yugoslavian republics are truly beautiful!! In one moment we stopped at famous bridge on Drina river, it&#8217;sa bridge with heavy and long history just like entire Balkan. So, this time, for all of you who love history we will take a little ride trough part of Balkan history and famous novel of writer Ivo Andric.</p>
<p>The Bridge on the Drina is real bridge but it&#8217;s also famous novel written by the most popular ex Yugoslavian writer Ivo Andric. Andric wrote the novel while living quietly in Belgrade during World War II, publishing it in 1945. Andric was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature for the novel in 1961.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/milica07.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-33690" title="milica07" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/milica07.jpg" alt="" width="530" height="255" /></a>Samsung ST550(TL225) / shutter speed: 1/250 / lens aperture: F3.5 / ISO: 80</p>
<p>The Bridge on the Drina centres around the town of Višegrad and the Mehmed Paša Sokolović Bridge over the Drina river. In Andric&#8217;s story spans about four centuries during the Ottoman and subsequently Austrian administrations of the region and describes the lives of local people in Bosnia and Herzegovina.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/SAM_1727.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="SAM_1727" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/SAM_1727_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="SAM_1727" width="530" height="298" /></a> Samsung ST550(TL225) / shutter speed: 1/250 / lens aperture: F3.5 / ISO: 80</p>
<p>This bridge has very long and rich history and Andric has written it so well. Andric describes how the mothers of these children follow their son wailing, until they reach a river where the child is taken across by ferry and the mothers can no longer follow. That child becomes a Muslim and, taking a Turkish name (Mehmed, later Mehmed pasha Sokolović), is promoted quickly and around the age of 60 becomes Grand Vizier. Yet, that moment of separation still haunts him and he decides to order the building of a bridge at a point on the river where he was parted from his mother.</p>
<p>The middle of the bridge, called &#8220;the gate&#8221;, is wider, and it quickly becomes a popular meeting place for people from Višegrad and the surrounding area in a relaxed mood which is still typical of present day Turkey and most of the Balkans.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/SAM_1726.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="SAM_1726" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/SAM_1726_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="SAM_1726" width="530" height="298" /></a> Samsung ST550(TL225) / shutter speed: 1/125 / lens aperture: F4.4 / ISO: 80</p>
<p>In this novel, reader also learns that there are no tensions between the Muslims (referred to as Turks throughout the novel), Christians (the Serbs), Sephardic Jews and the Roma people. Rather, they stand in solidarity with one another during the regular floods of the Drina.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/SAM_1712.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="SAM_1712" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/SAM_1712_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="SAM_1712" width="530" height="298" /></a>Samsung ST550(TL225) / shutter speed: 1/350 / lens aperture: F3.5 / ISO: 80</p>
<p>About a century later, Habsburg Austria conquers what is now Hungary, and thus a crisis within the Turkish empire begins. The first nationalist tensions arise in the 19th century when the Serbian uprising in the neighbouring Belgrade pashaluk (todays Serbia) begins. After the Congress of Berlin, Serbia and Montenegro become fully independent countries while the Austro Hungarian Empire receives a right to occupy Bosnia and Herzegovina and thus turn it into a protectorate. Since the completion of the bridge, time has seemed to stop, and the local people have many difficulties in accepting the numerous changes that come with Austrian rule.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/SAM_1717.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="SAM_1717" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/SAM_1717_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="SAM_1717" width="530" height="298" /></a> Samsung ST550(TL225) / shutter speed: 1/180 / lens aperture: F3.5 / ISO: 80</p>
<p>Town suddenly experiences a substantial influx of foreigners. People from all parts of the Austro Hungarian kingdom arrive, opening their businesses and bringing the customs of their native regions with them. A narrow gauge railway line is built to Sarajevo and the significance of the bridge is soon reduced, but not completely, as will become apparent subsequently. Thanks to this modernisation, children begin to be educated in Sarajevo, and later some of them continue their studies in Vienna. They bring home ideas from the rest of the world and, along with the newspapers that are now available in Višegrad, nationalistic ideas emerge, especially among Serbs.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/SAM_1722.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="SAM_1722" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/SAM_1722_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="SAM_1722" width="530" height="298" /></a> Samsung ST550(TL225) / shutter speed: 1/250 / lens aperture: F3.5 / ISO: 80</p>
<p>Another &#8220;contribution&#8221; to these changes is the crisis of the year 1908, when troubles in Turkey give Austria an excellent opportunity to formally annex Bosnia and Herzegovina. During this Annexation Crisis, it becomes evident that Austria sees the Kingdom of Serbia and its royal dynasty, the Karađorđevićs, as a serious obstacle to their further conquest of the Balkans. The Balkan wars of 1912 and 1913, when Turkey was almost completely pushed out of the Balkans, do not help to foster better relations between Serbs and Austrians as they undermine the significance of the middle span of the bridge, with its friendly inter-ethnic relationships and camaraderie. Many young Serbian men pass over it at night and smuggle themselves across the border to Serbia. The reader never learns if the most famous of them, Gavrilo Princip, passes across this bridge, although historically it would have been a possibility.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/SAM_1724.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="SAM_1724" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/SAM_1724_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="SAM_1724" width="530" height="298" /></a>Samsung ST550(TL225) / shutter speed: 1/500 / lens aperture: F3.5 / ISO: 80</p>
<p>In 1914 Gavrilo Princip assassinates Franz Ferdinand in Sarajevo and that&#8217;s how World War I started. The Kingdom of Austria and Hungary declare war on Serbia, and the Austrians begin to incite the non-Serbian population of Višegrad against the Serbs living in the town. The bridge with the old road to Sarajevo suddenly regains its importance, as the railway line is not adequate to transport all the war materiel and soldiers who will soon invade Serbia. As we learn from the historical account, the Serbian army defeats the Austrians on their first invasion and starts to advance towards Bosnia, so the Austrians decide to establish the front line on the Drina. They evacuate Višegrad and blow up portions of the bridge.</p>
<p>Some time after that we have World War II and some time after that we got beautiful country called Yugoslavia with famous president Tito. For years we lived in prosperity and peace (all 6 republics and nations together). Later we realised it was a mask, because during the 90&#8242; we had terrible, teribble war, previous &#8220;brothers&#8221; were killing each other and ex Yugoslavia fall apart and republics separeted from each other. Now we all have our countries but most of the people are still quite nostalgic.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/SAM_1725.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="SAM_1725" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/SAM_1725_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="SAM_1725" width="530" height="298" /></a> Samsung ST550(TL225) / shutter speed: 1/250 / lens aperture: F5.9 / ISO: 80</p>

<p>I think I finally know why Ultravox decided to make song &#8220;Vienna&#8221; !<br />
All I&#8217;m gonna say is &#8220;Oh Vienna&#8221; !!!!<br />
It&#8217;s amazing, neat, adorable, calm, romantic, cold (like the rest of Europe as well at this moment), full of amazing energy and history and damn to cool! Ohhhh Vienna!!!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Viennacenter.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="Vienna - center" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Viennacenter_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="Vienna - center" width="530" height="298" /></a>Samsung ST550(TL225) / shutter speed: 1/45 / lens aperture: F3.5 / ISO:100</p>
<p>Very wild weekend is behind me. On Friday, I finished with my &#8220;normal&#8221;  job, left Belgrade and went to the north of Serbia. I arrived quite late. In Sombor I drunk coffee with my parents and then met some friends, my brother and his wife and we went to Vienna by bus. Bus is definitely choice for tourist adventurist, It&#8217;s cheaper and so on, but if you have lack of time like me and only 1.5 days to visit Vienna and then come back home and prepare for job then it&#8217;s not so great choice. However, even I forgot what sleeping means and completely change night for day or day for night or&#8221;¦simply didn&#8217;t sleep, I have to say I had truly amazing time there!</p>
<p>When we arrived to Austria, first we did was attacking famous Austrian shopping village Parndorf near border. It&#8217;s literally a village full of all the famous clothing brands in the world. All of these goods are from previous seasons, and / or some of the items may have some minor errors or mis-constructions etc. but hardly visible and choice of clothes is just amazing. When it is important for you to wear a certain lable on your clothings, these shops in the Designer&#8221; Outlet Parndorf make sense ! You might be happy to get a jacket for &#8220;just&#8221; 300 euros that is over 600 euros in other shops.</p>
<p>After that we finally came to Vienna. My first impression was wow. What I find fascinating is that entire city is covered with amazing architecture in Austro-Hungarian style so you have a kind of feeling that you have lost in some past time but the feeling is very comfortable.</p>
<p>So if you ask me what are things you must do in Vienna, I would say on first place : Please visit Schonnbrunn: Schonnbrunn Park and Gloriette!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Sch_nbrunnPalace1.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="Sch_nbrunn Palace-1" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Sch_nbrunnPalace1_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="Sch_nbrunn Palace-1" width="530" height="298" /></a>Samsung ST550(TL225) / shutter speed: 1/800 / lens aperture: F9.1 / ISO:80</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Schonnbrunn</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Sch_nbrunnPalace2.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="Sch_nbrunn Palace-2" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Sch_nbrunnPalace2_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="Sch_nbrunn Palace-2" width="530" height="298" /></a>Samsung ST550(TL225) / shutter speed: 1/750 / lens aperture: F3.5 / ISO:80</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Schonnbrunn Garden</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Sch_nbrunnPalace4.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="Sch_nbrunn Palace-4" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Sch_nbrunnPalace4_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="Sch_nbrunn Palace-4" width="530" height="298" /></a>Samsung ST550(TL225) / shutter speed: 1/180 / lens aperture: F9.1 / ISO:80</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Sch_nbrunnPalace6.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="Sch_nbrunn Palace-6" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Sch_nbrunnPalace6_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="Sch_nbrunn Palace-6" width="530" height="298" /></a>Samsung ST550(TL225) / shutter speed: 1/800 / lens aperture: F4.7 / ISO:80</p>
<p>I was born and raised in part of Serbia called Vojvodina (north) and in past, this part of Serbia was under Austro-Hungerians at some point and Maria Theresie in that time made some truly amazing buildings in Vojvodina. So&#8230; before I visited Vienna, I already knew that Maria Theresia was a lady with lot of style, great taste and she was definitely a huge hedonist! And this place is just one part of Schonnbrunn complex. She loved this building with its incredible view of the gardens and palace and took breakfast here daily. Lucky lady hmm?</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Sch_nbrunnPalace5.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="Sch_nbrunn Palace-5" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Sch_nbrunnPalace5_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="Sch_nbrunn Palace-5" width="530" height="298" /></a>Samsung ST550(TL225) / shutter speed: 1/125 / lens aperture: F5.4 / ISO:80</p>
<p>This is view from the garden on previous photo. Looking at this scene I couldn&#8217;t stop wondering what&#8217;s the feeling when you&#8217;re so powerful in every aspect and see all those ants (read: people) who are working for you. Ok I promiss I wouldn&#8217;t go in deeper psycho analyze of this.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Sch_nbrunnPalace3.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="Sch_nbrunn Palace-3" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Sch_nbrunnPalace3_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="Sch_nbrunn Palace-3" width="530" height="942" /></a>Samsung ST550(TL225) / shutter speed: 1/250 / lens aperture: F3.5 / ISO:80</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t know really those guys, they just insisted to pose for me while I was taking photos in Schonnbrunn.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/SAM_1631.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="SAM_1631" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/SAM_1631_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="SAM_1631" width="530" height="298" /></a>Samsung ST550(TL225) / shutter speed: 1/60 / lens aperture: F5.4 / ISO:100</p>
<p>This is Museum of Modern Art. One more amazing thing about Vienna is that they invest so much in young talents and art. On their billboards, most of adverts are related to art events such as exhibitions, festivals, Opera etc. I guess, it&#8217;s one of the ways how you can see how developed is some country. If I&#8217;ve heard well, their Opera gets from government around 10 millions euros every year and employes God knows how many people. Respect!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Hofburg1.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="Hofburg-1" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Hofburg1_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="Hofburg-1" width="530" height="298" /></a>Samsung ST550(TL225) / shutter speed: 1/125 / lens aperture: F3.5 / ISO:80</p>
<p>This is Hofburg Imperial Palace. The city was a stage to the Austrian Civil War of 1934, when Chancellor Engelbert Dollfuss sent the Austrian Army to shell civilian housing occupied by the socialist militia. In 1938, after a triumphant entry into Austria, Adolf Hitler famously spoke to the Austrian people from the balcony of the Neue Burg, a part of the Hofburg at the Heldenplatz. Between 1938 and the end of the Second World War, Vienna lost its status as a capital to Berlin.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/SAM_1644.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="SAM_1644" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/SAM_1644_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="SAM_1644" width="530" height="298" /></a>Samsung ST550(TL225) / shutter speed: 1/20 / lens aperture: F5.8 / ISO:200</p>
<p>Romantic, isn&#8217;t it? :)</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/SAM_1632.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="SAM_1632" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/SAM_1632_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="SAM_1632" width="530" height="298" /></a>Samsung ST550(TL225) / shutter speed: 1/250 / lens aperture: F3.5 / ISO:80</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Parlament</strong></p>
<p>Here is little more of Vienna spirit</p>

<p>As every proper tourist, in the end of my one day journey trough Vienna, I went to famous Wiener Riesenrad Ferris wheel at the entrance of the Prater amusement park lol.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/SAM_1649.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="SAM_1649" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/SAM_1649_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="SAM_1649" width="530" height="942" /></a>Samsung ST550(TL225) / shutter speed: 1/45 / lens aperture: F3.5 / ISO:200</p>

<p>Rainy day, cold evening didn&#8217;t gave me marvelous panorama view, still it was maybe the perfect way to chillax somewhere on the sky and look Vienna after a crazy day.</p>
<p>If everything goes well, I&#8217;m going to Prague very soon and can&#8217;t really wait!!!</p>

<p>One day while I was in Recife working, I decided wake up very early to walking through the Boa Viagem beach, near the hotel.</p>
<p>During this walking I saw someone pointing to the sea and saying: &#8220;look at the sharks, look at the sharks&#8221;. I couldn&#8217;t believe it. I saw some signage warning about the dangers in that beach but I didn&#8217;t expect to see sharks.</p>
<p>First it was only one&#8221;¦after two&#8221;¦until to see four sharks&#8221;¦</p>
<p>I thought that nobody believed me, so I tried to take some pictures to prove that it wasn&#8217;t a fisherman talk.</p>
<p>Boa Viagem beach is well known for its coral reefs. People can swim safely just in the places where this barrier exists.</p>
<p>Some accidents involving sharks happen because the surfers cross the coral reefs to get waves in an open sea.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">Some psychologist say: &#8221; when your woman suddenly decides that a nice shoulder length bob would flatter her more, or worse, comes home out of the blue one day with all her hair hacked off, look out&#8230; They say that every time when woman decide to cut her hair means she is going through something very emotional, very unpleasant, and more than likely, something very much related to men. In my case&#8230; well i really had need for something new, something fresh, some kind of &#8220;new me&#8221;. Maybe you cannot live from perfect job or see all places you&#8217;re dreaming about, or buy every peace of clothes you.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/clip_image00645.jpg"><img class="aligncenter" title="clip_image006[4]" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/clip_image0064_thumb3.jpg" border="0" alt="clip_image006[4]" width="530" height="320" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">When you&#8217;re kind of &#8220;chica&#8221; like me, you can get bored quite easily, and get amused even more eaasily. With my beautiful <a href="http://www.samsungimaging.com" target="_blank">Samsung</a> <a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/products/st550-tl225/" target="_blank">ST550(TL225)</a> and marvelous options for photo edition i realised that cutting hair and making &#8220;new me&#8221; was just right step to do! How i know that? Well, after month since i cut my hair i still get thrilled when i see my new look in the mirror and get inspiration to make new portraits and see how i look like in BW or Sepia or&#8230; like Cleopatra?! Lol Maybe males around you will be shocked in a first moment and look at you very strange (as you can see on this photo) but they will get used eventually.</p>

<p>Generally, the Carnival (Carnaval) holiday in Brazil is a time for a free fantasy. Many people moving across the country to take rest or to play carnival in places where there are parades and crowds of people, as Salvador, Recife and Rio de Janeiro. Here in São Paulo the city become empty, despite that we have a carnival parade.</p>
<p>I decide to take a rest here and start using my new Samsung Compact Camera <a href="http://www.samsungimaging.com/learn/digital-camera-camcorder/productDetailView.do?forward=feature&amp;prdCtgSeq=7&amp;langPrdSeq=6021" target="_blank">ST550</a>, and the pictures needed to show the work of São Paulo&#8217;s carnival after parade.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/clip_image0042.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border-width: 0px;" title="clip_image004" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/clip_image004_thumb1.jpg" border="0" alt="clip_image004" width="530" height="397" /></a>[Samsung ST550 1/350s ã…£f/4.4 ã…£ISO 80ã…£13.7mm]</p>
<p>Why?  Because everyone thinks just about the parade and don&#8217;t realize what happens after it!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/clip_image0062.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border-width: 0px;" title="clip_image006" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/clip_image006_thumb1.jpg" border="0" alt="clip_image006" width="530" height="707" /></a>[Samsung ST550 1/500s ã…£f/4.7 ã…£ISO 80ã…£8.3mm]</p>
<p>The schools of samba keep all cars with allegory in one place until the result of the carnival competition is announced on the Tuesday afternoon carnival in São Paulo. There is a kind of ceremony where long lines are armed in sambódromo site. Tents are armed position where the representatives of each school, which will annotate the notes as they are being disseminated, making the calculations. The chairman of the league makes the final considerations about the carnival that year, reads the possible loss of points given to each school, and then start reading the notes.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/clip_image0082.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border-width: 0px;" title="clip_image008" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/clip_image008_thumb1.jpg" border="0" alt="clip_image008" width="530" height="397" /></a>[Samsung ST550 1/180s ã…£f/5.4 ã…£ISO 80ã…£18.7mm]</p>
<p>After the result of this competition is announced the best schools of samba parade again in Sambódromo, at the end of the week following the carnival. This parade has no competitive character, it is only a kind of festival to crown the year&#8217;s best schools, where the parade foliões can more carefree with questions.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/clip_image0102.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border-width: 0px;" title="clip_image010" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/clip_image010_thumb1.jpg" border="0" alt="clip_image010" width="530" height="397" /></a>[Samsung ST550 1/180s ã…£f/9.1 ã…£ISO 80ã…£4.9mm]</p>
<p>To provide a parade is necessary at least 10 months working that is shown in just 80 minutes and after this all work done become obsolete, without use.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/clip_image0122.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border-width: 0px;" title="clip_image012" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/clip_image012_thumb1.jpg" border="0" alt="clip_image012" width="530" height="397" /></a>[Samsung ST550 1/250s ã…£f/5.5 ã…£ISO 80ã…£10.4mm]</p>

<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/sum.jpg"><img class="aligncenter" style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="sum" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/sum_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="sum" width="530" height="201" /></a></p>
<p>It&#8217;s time to make new blog with amazing <a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/products/st550-tl225/">ST550(TL225)</a>! In this blog we will go trough few amazing photo edition options that you can find in this adorable camera. I&#8217;m telling you that you don&#8217;t need expencive softwers for photo edition, because all you need is here.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s start with few examples:</p>
<p>1) This is my dear friend Sanja, i took her portrait in pub while we had sweet female chit chat.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/photo2.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="photo2" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/photo2_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="photo2" width="530" height="298" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">[ST550(TL225) / shutter speed: 1/45 / lens aperture: 3.5 / ISO 200 / focal length: 4.9mm]</p>
<p>Step1: Original photo</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/photo1.jpg"><img class="aligncenter" style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="photo1" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/photo1_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="photo1" width="530" height="298" /></a></p>
<p>Step2: BW conversion (BW conversion in ST550 works just perfect as you can see!)</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/photo0.jpg"><img class="aligncenter" style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="photo0" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/photo0_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="photo0" width="530" height="298" /></a></p>
<p>Step3: BW conversion + playing with RGB tones (to achieve more warm tones i was playing with RGB tones. One of the options inside ST550 that you can find. You can get truly fantastic results with this).</p>
<p>2) This is self-portrait taken in my room. I wanted to take very causal self-portrait and see what i can</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/photo4.jpg"><img class="aligncenter" style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="photo4" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/photo4_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="photo4" width="530" height="298" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">[ST550(TL225) / shutter speed: 1/20 / lens aperture: 3.5 / ISO 200 / focal length: 5mm]</p>
<p>Step1: Original photo</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/photo3.jpg"><img class="aligncenter" style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="photo3" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/photo3_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="photo3" width="530" height="298" /></a></p>
<p>Step2: What i did here is simple and very user friendly adjustment in ST550 called &#8220;contrast+1&#8243;. As you can see, result is already much better because in this case, face and eyes are in first plan</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/photo5.jpg"><img class="aligncenter" style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="photo5" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/photo5_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="photo5" width="530" height="298" /></a></p>
<p>Step3: And as you already know, I&#8217;m complitely in love in BW conversion in ST550, so for artistic &#8220;touch&#8221; i did this last conversion.</p>
<p>3) In my last example i did several things and here we can see beautiful options of ST550 where you</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/Selforiginal.jpg"><img class="aligncenter" style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="Self-original" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/Selforiginal_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="Self-original" width="530" height="298" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">[ST550(TL225) / shutter speed: 1/15 / lens aperture: 3.5 / ISO 240 / focal length: 4.9mm]</p>
<p>Step1: Original photo</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/Selforiginal1.jpg"><img class="aligncenter" style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="Self-original" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/Selforiginal_thumb1.jpg" border="0" alt="Self-original" width="530" height="298" /></a></p>
<p>Step2: I added more contrast, actually: Contrast +1</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/Selfcontrast.jpg"><img class="aligncenter" style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="Self-contrast" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/Selfcontrast_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="Self-contrast" width="530" height="298" /></a></p>
<p>Step3: I reduced saturation and took option: Saturation -1</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/Selforiginal2.jpg"><img class="aligncenter" style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="Self-original" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/Selforiginal_thumb2.jpg" border="0" alt="Self-original" width="530" height="298" /></a></p>
<p>Step 1: Original photo</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/SelfBW.jpg"><img class="aligncenter" style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="Self-BW" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/SelfBW_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="Self-BW" width="530" height="298" /></a></p>
<p>Step 2: BW conversion</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/SelwBWRetro.jpg"><img class="aligncenter" style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="Selw BW-Retro" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/SelwBWRetro_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="Selw BW-Retro" width="530" height="298" /></a></p>
<p>Step3: On BW conversion I added effect &#8220;Retro&#8221; so i got this beautiful Sepia.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/SelfBWRetroSaturation.jpg"><img class="aligncenter" style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="Self BW-Retro-Saturation" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/SelfBWRetroSaturation_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="Self BW-Retro-Saturation" width="530" height="298" /></a></p>
<p>Step4: To achieve more cal and neutral tones, I reduced Saturation-1, and this is final result!</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">ST500(TL220) │ 1/500s │ 3.5f │ ISO80 │ 4.9mm │ Program Auto</p>
<p>Before arriving at Highland, the bus stopped for a moment for a photo time. I was asleep on the way and when I opened my eyes, a jaw dropping scenery spread before my eyes. The snowy scenery of Scotland, with many rocky mountains, was really unique. The clear color of the sky and snowy landscape of the rocky mountain were harmonious and marvelous that even looking at it directly it makes you wonder whether you&#8217;re looking at a picture.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/SAM_4272.jpg"><img class="aligncenter" style="display: inline; border-width: 0px;" title="SAM_4272" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/SAM_4272_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="SAM_4272" width="530" height="298" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">ST500(TL220) │ 1/350s │ 3.5f │ ISO80 │ 4.9mm │ Program Auto</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">At last we arrived at the town with Loch Ness, the highlight of Highland tour. The scenery of the town which was surrounded by the snowy mountains and lake deep as the sea was breathtaking. As soon as I arrived at the town the first thing that captured my eye was the boat dock. The boat you see in the picture is the boat I&#8217;m going to ride to see the Loch Less.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/SAM_4287.jpg"><img class="aligncenter" style="display: inline; border-width: 0px;" title="SAM_4287" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/SAM_4287_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="SAM_4287" width="530" height="298" /></a></p>

<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/SAM_4305.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border-width: 0px;" title="SAM_4305" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/SAM_4305_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="SAM_4305" width="530" height="298" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">ST500(TL220) │ 1/180s │ 3.5f │  ISO80 │ 4.9mm │ Program Auto</p>
<p>Finally, I&#8217;m on the boat. Let&#8217;s go! Loch Less is the biggest and the deepest lake in UK with 36km in length and 230m in depth. The Loch Less seen from the boat didn&#8217;t look like a lake but seemed more like the sea. The water is too deep that the color of the water was black and you couldn&#8217;t see the end of Loch Less.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/SAM_4309.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border-width: 0px;" title="SAM_4309" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/SAM_4309_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="SAM_4309" width="530" height="298" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">ST500(TL220) │ 1/750s │ 4.4f │ ISO80 │ 13.7mm │ Program Auto</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"> <a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/SAM_4314.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border-width: 0px;" title="SAM_4314" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/SAM_4314_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="SAM_4314" width="530" height="298" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">ST500(TL220) │ 1/350s │ 3.5f │ ISO80 │ 4.9mm │ Program Auto</p>
<p>Because of its enormous size, there are a lot of rumor saying that there&#8217; a monster living inside. I just laughed when I heard that rumor but to see the real Loch Less it made me think there could be a real monster inside. The size of Loch Less was overwhelming and it was enough to stimulate the imaginations of numerous tourists.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/SAM_4321.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border-width: 0px;" title="SAM_4321" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/SAM_4321_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="SAM_4321" width="530" height="298" /></a> </p>
<p style="text-align: center;">ST500(TL220) │ 1/250s │ 5.5f │ ISO80 │ 10.4mm │ Program Auto</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"> <a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/SAM_4361.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border-width: 0px;" title="SAM_4361" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/SAM_4361_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="SAM_4361" width="530" height="298" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">ST500(TL220) │ 1/750s │ 3.5f │ ISO80 │ 4.9mm │ Program Auto</p>
<p>While I was observing the scenery through the windows of the boat, I found this cute monster attached to the window. I took a picture of this cute monster and it seemed like the real monster living in Loch Less. And at the entrance of the town, there stands a big structure which embodies the monster. If there was a monster, they imagined it would look like it but to me eyes it just looked cute. The name of the monster is &#8220;˜Nessi&#8217;. How can it not be cute?</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"> <a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/SAM_4366.jpg"><img class="aligncenter" style="display: inline; border-width: 0px;" title="SAM_4366" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/SAM_4366_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="SAM_4366" width="530" height="298" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">ST500(TL220) │ 1/500s │ 3.5f │ ISO80 │ 4.9mm │ Program Auto</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/SAM_4377.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border-width: 0px;" title="SAM_4377" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/SAM_4377_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="SAM_4377" width="530" height="298" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">ST500(TL220) │ 1/350s │ 3.5f │ ISO80 │ 4.9mm │ Program Auto</p>
<p>On the bus ride back to Edinburgh after seeing Loch Less, once again we had photo time. And there, we met children playing riding sleds. There are many hills in Highland that it seemed like if you just come out with a sled you can ride sleds everywhere. The snowy scenery of Highland seen behind the joyful family makes you admire once again.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"> <a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/SAM_4548.jpg"><img class="aligncenter" style="display: inline; border-width: 0px;" title="SAM_4548" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/SAM_4548_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="SAM_4548" width="530" height="298" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">ST500(TL220) │ 1/15s │ 3.5f │ ISO240 │ 4.9mm │ Program Auto</p>
<p>After ending a few days of travel to Edinburgh and Highland, lastly I wrote a letter on a card to my family which I bought as a souvenir. The drawing of the cow on the card is the Highland cow which lives in Highland, and the fur attached to the card is the real fur of Highland cow. Whether it&#8217;s true or not, goodbye for now!</p>

<p>The operating buttons of the <a href="http://www.samsungimaging.com/learn/digital-camera-camcorder/productDetailView.do?forward=feature&amp;prdCtgSeq=7&amp;langPrdSeq=6021" target="_blank">ST550(TL225)</a> are four of power, shutter, zoom and display in total.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/clip-image0069.jpg"><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 0px;" title="clip_image006" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/clip-image006-thumb8.jpg" border="0" alt="clip_image006" width="530" height="265" /></a></p>
<p>At the bottom, it requires a battery (720mAh) and memory of micro sd.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/clip-image0088.jpg"><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 0px;" title="clip_image008" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/clip-image008-thumb7.jpg" border="0" alt="clip_image008" width="530" height="298" /></a></p>
<p>The back is very neat with 3.5 inch wide LCD (1.15 pixels and haptic touch screen)</p>
<p><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/clip-image0107.jpg"><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 0px;" title="clip_image010" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/clip-image010-thumb5.jpg" border="0" alt="clip_image010" width="530" height="373" /></a></p>
<p>As for the size and thickness, it is slightly thinner and larger than a pack of cigarettes.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/clip-image0127.jpg"><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 0px;" title="clip_image012" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/clip-image012-thumb6.jpg" border="0" alt="clip_image012" width="530" height="283" /></a></p>
<p>It varies with the newly introduced dual LCD mode. The flash light is off now.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/clip-image0135.jpg"><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 0px;" title="clip_image013" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/clip-image013-thumb5.jpg" border="0" alt="clip_image013" width="530" height="289" /></a></p>
<p>The front 1.5 inch LCD is not a touch type. I&#8217;m just fingering it in wonder.</p>
<p>Having a front LCD and full touch LCD on the back is the biggest feature of this product, which is fun.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/clip-image0154.jpg"><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 0px;" title="clip_image015" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/clip-image015-thumb4.jpg" border="0" alt="clip_image015" width="530" height="320" /></a></p>
<p>The small square shows where af is (auto mode).</p>
<p>Whenever a half shutter is pressed, af, the small square moves in the front LCD to focus depending on a photo mode.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/clip-image0174.jpg"><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 0px;" title="clip_image017" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/clip-image017-thumb4.jpg" border="0" alt="clip_image017" width="530" height="320" /></a></p>
<p>When I take the camera a little bit down at the face recognition mode, the af pointer immediately changes accordingly.</p>
<p>I felt that this camera&#8217;s face recognition feature is faster than other <a href="http://www.samsungcamera.com/" target="_blank">Samsung cameras</a>. AF pointer quickly moves to find a face.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/clip-image0185.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 0px initial initial;" title="clip_image018" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/clip-image018-thumb5.jpg" border="0" alt="clip_image018" width="530" height="238" /></a></p>
<p>When setting up the self shot mode, a person icon appears from the front LCD and it takes a picture in 3, 2, 1 to the self situation.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/clip-image0205.jpg"><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 0px;" title="clip_image020" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/clip-image020-thumb4.jpg" border="0" alt="clip_image020" width="530" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>When the children mode is set up, a short and simple animation from the front LCD is repeatedly played. The front LCD may attract a lot of people&#8217;s attention.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/clip-image0223.jpg"><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 0px;" title="clip_image022" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/clip-image022-thumb3.jpg" border="0" alt="clip_image022" width="530" height="294" /></a></p>
<p>When I showed the front LCD to a sleeping cat, he stares at it and sleeps again.</p>
<p>This kind of <a href="http://www.samsungimaging.com/learn/digital-camera-camcorder/productDetailView.do?forward=feature&amp;prdCtgSeq=7&amp;langPrdSeq=6021" target="_blank">ST550(TL225)</a> dual LCD and full touch screen menu is still new to me. You may feel a minor vibration when you touch it like a cell phone&#8217;s haptic mode. The front LCD and self shot mode are pretty creative, wonder and fun. Any woman or student who likes self shot or family with a baby might use this with fun.</p>
<p>It will be pretty easy for making a portrait shot at home. In addition, you can pose different looking at the front LCD.</p>
<p>For the front LCD, you should set it up on the menu. Please refer to the below video as to the movement of the menu and touch screen.</p>
<p>I thought firstly that the <a href="http://www.samsungimaging.com/learn/digital-camera-camcorder/productDetailView.do?forward=feature&amp;prdCtgSeq=7&amp;langPrdSeq=6021" target="_blank">ST550(TL225)</a> is a quite intersting camera (It has no manual mode but auto compact)</p>
<p>The <a href="http://www.samsungimaging.com/learn/digital-camera-camcorder/productDetailView.do?forward=feature&amp;prdCtgSeq=7&amp;langPrdSeq=6022" target="_blank">ST1000(CL65)</a> launched at the same time has wireless features of GPS, blue-tooth and DLAN.</p>
<p>It has a feature of transmitting a photo taken via e-mail, picasa, face book and etc. and GPS to show location info.</p>
<p>I think that both are pretty interesting products considering that they are a new try.</p>

<p><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.com" target="_blank">Samsung</a> camera gave me a good opportunity to experience the <a href="http://www.samsungimaging.com/learn/digital-camera-camcorder/productDetailView.do?forward=feature&amp;prdCtgSeq=7&amp;langPrdSeq=6021" target="_blank">ST550(TL225)</a> that will be launched at the end of August. I had only a heavy DSLR, so I wished I had a compact digital camera. I&#8217;m so excited to have this perfectly precious camera. Shall we now take a look at the <a href="http://www.samsungimaging.com/learn/digital-camera-camcorder/productDetailView.do?forward=feature&amp;prdCtgSeq=7&amp;langPrdSeq=6021" target="_blank">ST550(TL225)</a>?</p>
<p><strong> </strong></p>
<p><strong>1. Small size! Simple design! </strong></p>
<p><strong>The new powerful compact digital camera, <a href="http://www.samsungimaging.com/learn/digital-camera-camcorder/productDetailView.do?forward=feature&amp;prdCtgSeq=7&amp;langPrdSeq=6021" target="_blank">ST550(TL225)</a> </strong></p>
<p>There are not many included as it is a pre-product: USB port and charger.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/026.jpg"><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 0px;" title="02" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/02-thumb4.jpg" border="0" alt="02" width="530" height="353" /></a> Like usual compact digital cameras, it is a small, simple and sophisticated design. The weight is 165.7g! The size is also superior: 99.8mm x 59.8mm x 18.6mm. Easy to grab it with one hand &#8220;“ edgy mini-size.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/037.jpg"><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 0px;" title="03" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/03-thumb4.jpg" border="0" alt="03" width="530" height="353" /></a></p>
<p>Look from the above. Isn&#8217;t it so slim?<a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/044.jpg"><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 0px;" title="04" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/04-thumb2.jpg" border="0" alt="04" width="530" height="311" /></a>The entire surface of the camera is of glossy material: Shiny Shiny! Although fingerprints are easily left, this glossy feeling may be one of the charms the <a href="http://www.samsungimaging.com/learn/digital-camera-camcorder/productDetailView.do?forward=feature&amp;prdCtgSeq=7&amp;langPrdSeq=6021" target="_blank">ST550(TL225)</a> has.<a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/054.jpg"><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 0px;" title="05" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/05-thumb3.jpg" border="0" alt="05" width="530" height="353" /></a>The operating buttons are also so simple that I having no sense of machine could figure them out right away.  <a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/064.jpg"><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 0px;" title="06" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/06-thumb3.jpg" border="0" alt="06" width="530" height="353" /></a></p>
<p><strong> </strong></p>
<p><strong> </strong></p>
<p><strong>2. Digital Camera for Self Shot? </strong></p>
<p><strong>World&#8217;s First Dual LCD! <a href="http://www.samsungimaging.com/learn/digital-camera-camcorder/productDetailView.do?forward=feature&amp;prdCtgSeq=7&amp;langPrdSeq=6021" target="_blank">ST550(TL225)</a> </strong></p>
<p>If you want me to choose the most superior feature of the <a href="http://www.samsungimaging.com/learn/digital-camera-camcorder/productDetailView.do?forward=feature&amp;prdCtgSeq=7&amp;langPrdSeq=6021" target="_blank">ST550(TL225)</a>, it must be the world&#8217;s first dual LCD.  If you look at the camera without turning it on, you may wonder &#8220;where is the LCD on the front? But&#8221;¦</p>
<p><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/074.jpg"><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 0px;" title="07" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/07-thumb3.jpg" border="0" alt="07" width="530" height="793" /></a></p>
<p>If you press the full touch screen to turn the front LCD on,  <a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/082.jpg"><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 0px;" title="08" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/08-thumb1.jpg" border="0" alt="08" width="530" height="353" /></a>The LCD hidden on the front of the shiny and glossy camera appears. Rirakuma who is not good at taking a self shot doesn&#8217;t have to take a face cutting self shot.</p>
<p>Looking at the LCD with the best looking angle, Click!</p>
<p><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/093.jpg"><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 0px;" title="09" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/09-thumb2.jpg" border="0" alt="09" width="530" height="353" /></a></p>
<p>You can also check it out on the wide full touch screen of 3.5 inch and 1.15 M pixels.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/101.jpg"><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 0px;" title="10" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/10-thumb1.jpg" border="0" alt="10" width="530" height="353" /></a></p>
<p><strong> </strong></p>
<p><strong> </strong></p>
<p><strong>3. </strong><strong>1.15 Mega-pixels and 3.5 inch wide full touch screen panel</strong></p>
<p>Wide full touch screen together with dual LCD is the strength of the <a href="http://www.samsungimaging.com/learn/digital-camera-camcorder/productDetailView.do?forward=feature&amp;prdCtgSeq=7&amp;langPrdSeq=6021" target="_blank">ST550(TL225)</a>!</p>
<p>Tapping it to play with is so much fun.</p>
<p>If you draw a &#8220;X&#8221; mark on the LCD with your finger, the camera having a sensor to detect a movement will show you &#8220;Delete photo?&#8221; and in addition to this, there are lots of amazing and fun features like haptic one and etc.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ll explain to you those functions later.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/112.jpg"><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 0px;" title="11" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/11-thumb2.jpg" border="0" alt="11" width="530" height="353" /></a></p>
<p>I&#8217;m still working on it but some preview photos taken by the <a href="http://www.samsungimaging.com/learn/digital-camera-camcorder/productDetailView.do?forward=feature&amp;prdCtgSeq=7&amp;langPrdSeq=6021" target="_blank">ST550(TL225)</a></p>
<p><strong>Sample pics</strong></p>

<p>Although looking at my brother being disappointed by taking a very difficult self shot was fun, he was not alone. I am a very poor self shooter&#8221;¦</p>
<p>So we are cursed brother and sister. Just then, this pleasing baby appeared. The  <a href="http://www.samsungimaging.com/learn/digital-camera-camcorder/productDetailView.do?forward=feature&amp;prdCtgSeq=7&amp;langPrdSeq=6021" target="_blank">ST550(TL225)</a>  is the new camera Samsung prepared with ambition. The <a href="http://www.samsungimaging.com/learn/digital-camera-camcorder/productDetailView.do?forward=feature&amp;prdCtgSeq=7&amp;langPrdSeq=6021" target="_blank">ST550(TL225)</a> has a dual LCD camera having a s1.5-inch LCD on the front of the camera: A screen is available on the front and back.</p>
<p>After turning the camera on, you can just touch the front LCD to make it on. If you take a self shot looking at the screen, it will be pretty one without cutting an eye or nose like my brother.  Why this explanation about a camera again?</p>
<p>That is because~ I found a good opportunity to experience a sample product of Samsung <a href="http://www.samsungimaging.com/learn/digital-camera-camcorder/productDetailView.do?forward=feature&amp;prdCtgSeq=7&amp;langPrdSeq=6021" target="_blank">ST550(TL225)</a>. I got so interested in photos that I&#8217;ve read through the first volume of &#8220;˜Lee Park Ko&#8217; I bought the other day and I again bought the fourth volume just released to study more about photos. I&#8217;ll show you Naniya&#8217;s various pretty cute colorful photos. <a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/143.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="14" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/14-thumb3.jpg" border="0" alt="14" width="530" height="127" /></a></p>
<p> I&#8217;ve been playing with this cute little thing lately and amazed with different interesting features. I&#8217;ll let you know everything in detail. First of all, I&#8217;ll start with a preview. Skipping a preview is like skipping a meal.</p>
<p>Simple appearance! Black with violet touch.<a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/152.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="15" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/15-thumb2.jpg" border="0" alt="15" width="530" height="519" /></a></p>
<p>World first dual LCD (both screens on the back and front!), and full touch digital camera.</p>
<p>The <a href="http://www.samsungimaging.com/" target="_blank">Samsung</a> <a href="http://www.samsungimaging.com/learn/digital-camera-camcorder/productDetailView.do?forward=feature&amp;prdCtgSeq=7&amp;langPrdSeq=6021" target="_blank">ST550(TL225)</a> gave a pleasant shock to the digital camera world! In addition, it did to my brother, self shot failure who is now frustrated in the next room. He says why it was not on the market when he bought his camera and asks if he can experience it instead of me. But no.</p>
<p>Stop talking and go back to China. haha</p>
<p>What I received is a sample camera which is made before being on the market so there is no box having a company logo. I was a little in loss first because there was not manual at all. I was toying with it and saw a screen on the front which made me so surprised. I&#8217;ll unveil everything.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/162.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="16" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/16-thumb2.jpg" border="0" alt="16" width="530" height="320" /></a></p>
<p>Camera and charger</p>
<p>The camera itself is of smooth and shiny material so fingerprints are easily left on. I blow on and polish it with glasses cloth. <a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/172.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="17" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/17-thumb2.jpg" border="0" alt="17" width="530" height="368" /></a></p>
<p>Battery, memory and adapter<a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/182.jpg"><strong><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="18" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/18-thumb2.jpg" border="0" alt="18" width="530" height="374" /></strong></a></p>
<p><strong> </strong></p>
<p>I&#8217;ll start charging it right away. I can&#8217;t wait.<a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/191.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="19" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/19-thumb1.jpg" border="0" alt="19" width="530" height="720" /></a></p>
<p>Insert a memory card and fully charged battery.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s push the power button. Mysterious blue light comes from the power button and 27 mm wide-angle lens (4.6 x optical zoom) comes out. If you take a picture with this wide-angle lens, you will have a rather longer picture horizontally. This is good for taking a self shot with a couple of friends and for many beautiful sceneries.<a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/202.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="20" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/20-thumb2.jpg" border="0" alt="20" width="530" height="374" /></a></p>
<p>It supports 12.20 M pixels!<a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/211.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="21" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/21-thumb1.jpg" border="0" alt="21" width="530" height="379" /></a></p>
<p>There are these buttons on the top. And if you look at the back of the camera&#8221;¦</p>
<p>I was surprised with the no button back screen!<a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/221.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="22" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/22-thumb1.jpg" border="0" alt="22" width="530" height="387" /></a></p>
<p>Now full touch may be a new generation. All the unnecessary buttons were put inside of the screen so making it larger to 3.5 inch. My mom asked how she can use this camera with surprise. Not just my mom but I was quite surprised and thought that the world is getting more convenient. I was a little bit not used to this no button function.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/232.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="23" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/23-thumb3.jpg" border="0" alt="23" width="530" height="371" /></a></p>
<p>However you will soon get used to this. <a href="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/241.jpg"><img style="display: inline; border: 0px;" title="24" src="http://www.samsungimaging.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/24-thumb2.jpg" border="0" alt="24" width="530" height="380" /></a></p>
<p>The smile feature that takes a picture automatically when you smile and the beauty shot giving a perfect skin on a picture is a celebrity by my family.</p>
<p>Mom and brother all smile. One note for the camera color. This <strong>Violet color</strong> that I have now will not be released in Korea. Chic black and cute orange will probably be produced in Korea. Next time, I&#8217;ll bring photos taken by this camera together with newly found features.</p>
