Great shots have to be caught in a split second. With a whole new approach to manual control, the WB 1000 Smart Control Dial lets you set the aperture and shutter speed as quick as the world moves. Just the turn of a finger and you can finely tune the white balance and color temperature for truer, richer colors and artistic photos. Flip from Auto Focus to Manual Focus or selection AF. Also just spin the dial to go right to the photos you want to show off. This dial isn’t just smart, it’s brilliant.

This scene recognition technology actually chooses from 11 different settings ranging from landscape to portrait automatically. Then adjusts for the perfect shot. Seeing is believing
Even under direct sunlight you can see your images in AMOLED screen which reduces glares from sunlight. Also you’ll see darker blacks and True Color brightness thanks to the AMOLED’s 10,000:1 contrast ratio. The clear, sharp display looks great from any angle. And you get all of this without an LCD backlight – so it consumes less power. Go ahead, show off your masterpiece on the large , sleek 3” screen with hVGA+ resolution.

Drop a few pounds.
If you prefer still shots to movies but want to leave your options open (and leave your camcorder at home) the WB 1000 is right for you. You’ll get 720p HQ quality video at 30 frames per second. And a recording time that’s 3.5x longer than MJPEG video. You even can use the 5X optical zoom to get up close and vividly personal. And when things get dicey, you can even pause your recording.
