Let’s run ‘Intelli-studio’ in Windows 7
Microsoft released the brand new operating system, Windows 7, recently. From the general assessment, it is faster and stronger than the previous version. However, because this is the newest version and just released, there are some software that doesn’t compatible with Windows 7. What about Intelli-studio? Let’s take a look.
I’ll show you the installation for the start.
‘Update information’ will show up when you connect camcorder with PC, then click OK to install it.
After you click OK…
See? Intelli-studio shows up on Windows 7’s desktop.
Now let’s check whether the functions are operating normally or not.
First, I’ll try to do photo editing.
Change Size.
This picture is originally size of width 6496, and height 4872 pixels. After I changed width’s pixel to 5000, the pixel of height changed automatically to 3750 due to the original ratio.
Image Effect-> Vignette. It’s the effect to make dark in the edges.
I gave ‘Polaroid’ effect from ‘Insert Frame’.
It seems like there’s no problem with photo editing function.
Next, let’s try movie editing.
I’ll move the media file from camcorder to PC.
After select the movie, jump to the Edit mode.
Click ‘Trim’ and then select the certain area. I’ll try to remove that section.
Through the timeline mode, you can see the movie has been divided by two since the middle section is deleted.
I gave ‘Flip’ effect from ‘Transition Effect’.
Now I’ll upload the edited movie on YouTube. You probably know that you can upload photos on Flickr, right?
Anyways, the window checking password will be opened after you click ‘Upload’ button.
It’s uploading now.
We could check that movie uploaded without any problems.
We have tested main functions of Intelli-studio in Windows 7.
It seems like Intelli-studio doesn’t have any problem with this new OS.

Useless information if the intelli studio install screen is never presented. I have the TL225 camera and upon plugging into my windows 7 machine I get no option to install any latest software.
Intelli Studio may run fine, but loading the software from the camera does not as far as I can tell. However, I am running a 64-bit Windows 7 copy, so that may have something to do with the problems I’ve encountered?

It could happen sometimes that PC doesn’t recognize the connections when you plug in USB drivers, such as cameras…etc. Whenever it happens, there’s problem with a cable or USB drivers.
However, it recognized as a camera, if there’s no screens presented for Intelli Studio, it might be some errors caused by programs that you already have.
If possible, why don’t you try it on the other PC? If the same problem happens, the best way you could do is getting Customer Service of PC.

As far as I know, I haven’t got any special reports about the crash between 64bit from Window 7 and Intelli Studio.
Therefore, I guess there’s as same situation happened as rz22g is having.

I just recently got the u10 but when I try to load it up in Windows 7, the intelli-studio screen is not present. I load it up on my WinXP pc, it works fine. Is there a certain feature we need to enable or disable to run intelli-studio on Win7?

According to the result of our experiment, there is no problem to run ‘Intelli-studio’ in window 7.
However, there could be trouble depending on the condition of user’s computers.
Would you check out your “My Computer” when it doesn’t appear the autorun window?
If your computer senses U10 when you connect it, the new icon “Intelli Studio” must be appeared automatically.
You can click the icon and use Intelli-studio without any trouble.
If the icon doesn’t appear, there could be some program that conflict with Intelli-studio in your compouter.
Because of too many possibilities, we can’t say anything to be sure. We apologize for that.

We suspect that some of your computer program might conflict with ‘Intelli-studio’. USB cable rarely can be the reason.
