#6 Ian McClure ““ Save the Earth, Love us.

6. Ian McClure

Hello. This is Nadia. It’s been a while since the last post. Is it because of global warming? My body keeps sinking amidst the rising temperature of peak summer. I feel like my ambition for life has halved. So would you be convinced if I say that this was the reason why this post is late? Or do you think it’s just an excuse? Well, it actually is an excuse. I’ll try and make an effort from now on. Look forward to a more diligent Nadia!

One question before introducing today’s artist. Do you have the air conditioner on right now? Or did you just come back from driving your car? Of course we have the right to enjoy the convenience that civilization has to offer. But if we keep on destroying the ozone layer and recklessly increase the amount of carbon emissions, we have no right to complain about the abnormal weather and natural disasters ““ because we asked for it. Let’s say that we were able to deal with it up to now. But what will happen to our descendants? Are we going to let them think that it’s a given that they have to drink and breath contaminated water and air?

We shouldn’t let this happen. So I’ve picked photographs that make us appreciate how beautiful this earth is and make us want to protect it. Ian McClure takes beautiful pictures of nature, environment and animals.

Ian McClure lives in Prestwick, Scotland. So this is what the undamaged sea in Scotland looks like. If I can see that sun with my own eyes, I think I will be energized to do anything. The cool picture of the winter tree below seems to convey the smell of winter. I wish that the hot summer passes by quickly so that I can smell the winter tree again.

How do you feel like after seeing the first picture? I unwittingly said “Hi~” out loud. I can’t really tell if the photo describes the encounter between two boys or a boy and a girl, but it seems romantic. Doesn’t your heart flutter just thinking about waiting for someone on the beach at golden sunset? Are you a person who first approaches someone else or someone who welcomes others like me? Below is a picture of organized field after harvest. I feel the urge to roll the organized pile of straw.

The eagle is fiercely staring at the fat foal. Of course the photos are not taken from the same position but I want to protect the peacefully walking foal. The pointy beak of the hawk looks really sharp.

Do I have to protect the foal again? At least the cat is less scary than the eagle. And this cat is particularly attractive than other cats. Perked up ear, elevated eyes, well-coordinated nose with black and skin tone colors, and shining hair. It has all the elements that a beautiful cat should have. Of course, everyone has different standards when it comes to beauty, but to me this is the best cat I’ve seen recently. The horse below is immersed in its own thoughts. Don’t the eyes look out of focus? I’d like to go and stroke the horse.

Take a good look at the picture of the rhino above. Isn’t there something on the mouth? It’s probably mud. The title that the photographer has given to this picture is “Do I have something on my mouth?” I think the title well suits the picture. The picture below is my favorite from the artist. It looks like the background of the butterfly sitting on a flower is colored. The contrast between the orange and the purple stands out. As much as I complain about the hot weather, I think I’m enjoying this summer at this very moment.

So how was this post? I can’t wait to see your comments. I’ll introduce Eric Hands on the next post. Take care of your health during this hot summer. This was Nadia.
