Wild Wild West
Niels Bohr, one of the pioneers of quantum theory, is a renowned scientist who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics.
He was known to be a movie-lover, (although he struggled to follow even the simplest story line”¦ I guess a genius in one area is not always a genius in all aspects.)
In particular, Niels dug Western movies.
One day, one of his students complained, “Why does the hero, who is always late in reaching for the gun, shoots faster than the villain?
Bohr argued back saying, “Reflex is faster than will. While the villain reaches for the gun after deciding to shoot, the hero reacts immediately to the villain’s movement and this makes him win.”
Looking at the baffled students, he ran out of the classroom to buy a toy water pistol and shot everyone to death, proving he was right.
Understand now?
Don’t look at me like that.
The reason why I was quicker than you in grabbing that last chocolate was ONLY because you demonstrated the will to eat first. I only reacted.
